Five Team Parlay – College Football – Week 3

When I parlay games, I don’t take too big of a risk. I like five solid bets, wrap them in a parlay, and increase my potential payout. #14 Kansas State (-4; -180) @ Missouri – This line started at -1 and has moved to -4 after 87% of the money moved to Kansas State (via Action Network). Take the Moneyline of -180 on BetUS as your first parlay selection. Both teams have played non-Power 5 schools, where Missouri was underwhelming and Kansas State was dominating. K-State also destroyed Missouri last year (40-12), and looks to have a bigger advantage this year.

Colorado State @#18 Colorado (-24) – This line has moved. Some books had -26, others at -28. Currently, BetUS is offering -24, which is a huge bargain. The Buffaloes beat Nebraska by 22, and Colorado State couldn’t beat Nebraska’s JV squad, this one is a no-brainer. #7 Penn State (-15; -664) @ Illinois – The oddsmakers are really tightening the screws here. This line was juicy at -11, but with 82% of the money on the Nittany Lions, four points have been added. The money line is gross also, leaving us a tough decision. You could also take the Over here at 48.5, considering Penn State averages 50 a game. However, Illinois barely beat Toldeo (30-28) and lost to Kansas, I feel like we’ll sneak by with a 17-point win in this game. Lay the 15 and make this your third parlay selection.

Syracuse (-2.5) @ Purdue – This is a primetime game where, depending on the book, each team is the dog. BetUS (our sponsor) is actually giving Purdue 2.5 points, while the average is Syracuse getting 2.5, which causes over 70% of the money to go to the Cuse. These teams are pretty even, with Syracuse winning a last-minute thriller last year in upstate NY, but Purdue is the battle-tested team in this year’s matchup. They’ve had much tougher opponents and the benefit of the home crowd. Plus we’re getting points, take Purdue and the 2.5 for parlay selection number four.

#3 Florida State (-26.5) @ Boston College – This line seems almost unfair. It has swelled to -28 on some books, with 85% of the money on the Noles. On BetUS (our sponsor) you’re only laying 26.5, and Florida State should easily cover this. Boston College lost to a MAC school and barely beat an FCS opponent, this seems like a gift with this line. The Over is only 48, and Florida State should cover that themselves. Play it safe and take the 48 Over as your final selection.
