Thursday (and Saturday…) in Philly
Wings (vs SASK) on Thursday: 9,965
Wings (vs BUF) on Saturday: 8,182
- The City of Brotherly Love was not happy after a Thursday night loss. The Wings finished their 1-8 at Home season on a low note from an attendances point of view.
- To be fair, if a fan shows up on Thursday AND the team loses, why would that fan come back on Saturday?
The Battle for Rochester
Knighthawks (vs HFX): 5,444
- A little surprised there wasn’t some more people there considering these two teams’ history.
- Halifax forward Ryan Benesch reached 4th place on the NLL’s all-time goals list.
Eliminated
Desert Dogs (vs VAN): 6,233
- As predicted in Friday’s article here, wasn’t expecting much in Las Vegas due to Vancouver being more of a “where is that?” than “rival to Vegas.”
