NFL Divisional Round Mega Parlay (+752)

We have reached the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. The 8 teams remaining need just 2 more wins to reach the Super Bowl. The Divisional Round has been split into 2 days, with the Texans-Ravens and Packers-49ers on Saturday while the Buccaneers-Lions and Chiefs-Bills will take place on Sunday.

I have come up with a 3-leg mega parlay for the action, so let’s get right into it.

Houston Texans +5.5 alternate spread (+145) over Baltimore Ravens

I believe the Ravens will emerge victorious in this game, but I don’t think it will be an easy win. The Texans had to face a top-tier defense in the Wild Card Round, yet C.J. Stroud managed to dismantle their secondary while the Houston defense prevented Joe Flacco from continuing his impressive streak. Stroud’s performance in the last two must-win games against the Colts and Browns has been outstanding, so I have no concerns about him struggling under pressure as he has been nearly perfect so far.

In the past two games, Stroud has thrown for 538 yards, and 5 touchdowns, and has not committed a single turnover. He has not thrown an interception since November 19. If he can maintain his ball security and sustain drives, the Texans may manage to keep the score close. Additionally, the Ravens and Lamar Jackson have had a long break from playing, so they may start off slow. This could give the Texans a chance to keep the game within a touchdown.

Detroit Lions -6.5 (-111) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The surprise of the Wild Card Round was the Buccaneers’ dominant performance against the Eagles, not just because they won but because they utterly outplayed their opponents. Jalen Hurts appeared to be inexperienced in dealing with blitzes, and the Philadelphia offensive line struggled to keep up. However, the Lions’ offense presents an entirely different challenge.

Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, both capable of running for five yards per carry on any given day, provide the ability to gain first downs and keep drives alive through the running game. In addition, the Lions’ top receiver will be available to play, unlike the Eagles. Jared Goff has Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta to throw to when facing the blitz. As long as the Detroit defense can make a few crucial stops, the Lions should have no trouble keeping their Super Bowl aspirations alive and winning by at least a touchdown.

Buffalo Bills -2.5 (-120) over Kansas City Chiefs

I’m skeptical about the Kansas City Chiefs, and I don’t believe they stand a chance. If the temperature wasn’t -30 degrees, the Chiefs would have lost in the Wild Card Round. Although Kansas City took advantage of the cold, the Bills are expected to take advantage of the weather conditions in the Divisional Round. Buffalo is accustomed to playing in snowy and cold conditions, and we all know how well they perform.

During the Wild Card Round game against the Steelers, Josh Allen played an almost perfect game, completing 21 out of 30 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran eight times for 74 yards and a touchdown, all without turning the ball over. When Allen takes his time in the pocket and avoids turnovers, it becomes incredibly difficult to beat the Bills. While Patrick Mahomes will try his best to keep the Chiefs in the game, their offense is no match for the Bills. I am confident in the Bills winning by a field goal.
