Harbaugh: “I’ve been living in an RV since taking the Chargers job”

Love him or hate him, Jim Harbaugh is unique and often fun to report about. Now, this headline would be a little awkward if he were still in college after his overnighters. However, Harbaugh living in an RV after getting hired in the NFL isn’t all that surprising. We’re talking about a coach hell-bent on winning. He took Michigan practically from the dead to a title run last year.

The head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers has recently revealed that he has been living in an RV ever since being hired by the franchise earlier this year. Although he may be the coach of a pro football team, he has not been living it up in the Hollywood Hills.

Instead, he has been living in an RV close to his offensive coordinator, Greg Roman, who also owns a good RV. Harbaugh has expressed his contentment with living in his RV but has mentioned that his family will soon be joining him in California. He is excited to move with them into a rental house where they will all be living together.

Harbaugh had previously coached at Michigan for nine seasons. That run culminated in a College Football Playoff National Championship, before taking the job in the NFL. He was 118 46 in NCAA Football, with stints at Stanford and Michigan. He also notably coached the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons, going 44-19 and reaching a Super Bowl.
