Villegas voted PGA Tour Player Advisory Council Chairman

The PGA Tour has announced that Camilo Villegas has been elected as the chairman of the Player Advisor Council (PAC) in a recent vote by the membership. Villegas, a five-time tour winner, most recently at the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, will hold the position of PAC chairman for the remainder of 2024. He will replace Jordan Spieth as one of the Player Directors on the Policy Board on January 1, 2025, and his term will be for three years (2025-2027).

When Villegas’ term begins, he will join Tiger Woods, Patrick Cantlay, Adam Scott, Webb Simpson, and Peter Malnati as Player Directors. Villegas won the vote over two-time Tour winner Kevin Streelman in a vote that took place on Tuesday night.
