Trout and Woods Golf Project
The goal is an operating course in 2025
Mike Trout and Tiger Woods have a golf project together!
Backers of Trout National – The Reserve are poised for final approval of the proposed 18-hole, championship-style golf course in East Vineland, covering an area of 281 acres. The project received preliminary approval from the city planners last summer, and work on ground-shaping and construction has already begun, including the construction of segments of the planned 4.5 miles of tall perimeter walls.
The Planning Board has scheduled a special meeting on Thursday night, February 29th, for a final review and vote at City Hall. However, City Principal Engineer Ryan Headley confirmed recently that the final plans are in line with what was agreed upon last summer.
Woods providing design
NEP Real Estate of Vineland NJ Urban Renewal LLC owns the land, and the project is expected to be completed in nine phases of construction, to have an operational course by 2025.
Mike Trout and Tiger Woods are partnering in the development, and Tiger Woods is providing the design team. The golf superstar has recently visited the under-construction course to check on its progress.
