On a Monday evening in Tokyo, WTA players gathered for a stylish get-together at the 2023 Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis players’ party. The ladies looked elegant and classy, as they celebrated the start of the tournament’s 38th edition. Photographer Jimmie48 is bringing us exclusive photos.

Roland Garros 2023 champion Iga Swiatek rocked a blue suit with a clean white crew-neck tee and a pair of white On sneakers. The Pole leads the field as the top seed.

Second seed Jessica Pegula sported a chic low bun with a center part. This sleek hairstyle beautifully matched her sophisticated black outfit: a fitted top with a square neckline and wide-legged pants.

Taking a closer look at Pegula’s hands reveals a polished blue-tipped French manicure, accompanied by a notable status symbol: a luxurious De Bethune watch.

Caroline Garcia opted for a timeless striped tee, paired with white 7/8 pants and striking red stilettos. The Frenchwoman made the most previous appearances at the current tournament with a total of five (2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022).

More Fancy Wear from the Stars

Last year’s Tokyo semifinalist Veronika Kudermetova arrived in an all-black ensemble, featuring a snug long-sleeve top and relaxed-fit pants, complemented by crisp white sneakers. Her hair fell long and straight, adding to her sleek look.

Petra Martic combined a black blouse with delicate lace sleeves, and beige pants, and finished the look with a pair of white sneakers.

Eighteen-year-old Linda Noskova, the youngest player in the singles draw, opted for a relaxed look, donning a sleeveless nude top, and baggy pants, and completing her ensemble with classic black Converse All Stars.

Harriet Dart went for a stylish combination of white jeans and a black-and-white strappy tank top.

On the same day, Anna Kalinskaya and Daria Kasatkina played battledore, dressed in traditional Japanese clothing. It’s an early form of badminton, a game played by two or more people using small rackets (the battledores).
