Monday Morning After: College Football Gambling News Week 4

Spread the love

Big Victory This Weekend Gambling on College Football!

Our college football gambling week was on the brink of disaster all day. Thanks to Notre Dame only putting 10 players on the field in the waning moments of their epic clash with Ohio State, Trayanum’s touchdown pushed our -3 bet and helped us cash on our 5-teamer for $159!! You can place your bets with our sponsor, just click the image below and get deposit bonuses! You can also watch our Live show every Thursday at 6 pm EST for locks of the week. The show airs on Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube and links can be found on our live schedule page.

Our article making these picks touched on the difficulty of handicapping these days. It took a heart-pounding drive by the Buckeyes as time trickled away, to walk away with some winnings.

Western Kentucky (+3.5) @ Troy – This game was tense, as was the other Noon clash we bet on. Western trailed by 10 late in the game, and we thought our parlay would die an early death. The Hilltopper’s main target, Corley, was dropping passes left and right. This game was much lower scoring than we had anticipated. Luckily, Easton Messer caught a 12-yard pass on a mad scramble to keep us in the black, narrowly winning by a half-point.

UCLA @ Utah (-4.5) – We predicted Utah’s defense would make UCLA one-dimensional, and boy were we right. The Bruins only rushed for 9 yards. What we didn’t expect, was a low-scoring slugfest. Both teams were held to less than 250 yards of offense (243-219 – UCLA), but a first-play pick-6 by the Utes ultimately was the difference. We scored this victory by a narrow 2.5 points!

Noon games had us living on the Edge

Oklahoma (-13.5) @ Cincinnati – If that weren’t enough, we sweat out the Oklahoma game, big time. The Sooners won each half 10-3, for a 20-6 win. However comfortable they felt, we did not. We won another one here by a half-point, thanks to a stiff Oklahoma defense and a Cincy offense that struggled to finish drives. After this game and the Western game, the Utah win at 3:30 p.m. felt like a blowout for us.

Maryland (-309) @ Michigan State – Finally an easy win. As predicted, Sparty still hasn’t, and probably won’t, recover from the bombshell news of their coach. Maryland’s Tagovailoa torched them in the air and ground to jump to a 21-0 lead and never looked back. It’s nice not to stress for at least one game.

We barely escape Disaster

Ohio State (-3) @ Notre Dame – Oh boy, what a game. First, as a fan of football, this one had all the trimmings. Great defense, tense moments, great plays, twists and turns, and finally the climactic ending. It looked like our parlay would be put to rest late into the evening, but the Irish forgot a man on defense for the final two plays. Those two plays resulted in an unbelievable catch at the 1-yard line, then a Trayanum touchdown as time expired when the ball just made the goal line. When one second was put back on the clock, I admit my nerves were frayed. I thought maybe the Buckeyes would grab a fumble and score, on one of those ridiculous ‘throw it around’ final plays. That would have been the best case for us. At this point, we were fine with pushing this game and lowering our payout. However, the thought crossed my mind that a crazy play would ensue where Notre Dame might run this back or get an insane hail mary (ala the Bluegrass Miracle). Nope, this was our day. Push this game, and our now four-team parlay cashed for a profit of $159 !!
