Two Title Fights on the Card
The Bellator 301 weigh-in results are in (all fighters listed below). Bellator MMA’s last event of the year has been officially confirmed with a welterweight title fight between Champion Yaroslav Amosov and Challenger Jason Jackson headlining Bellator 301. The co-main event features a bantamweight championship unification bout between Sergio Pettis and interim belt holder Patrick Mix. All fighters on the card successfully made weight except for Keri Melendez, who weighed .6 pounds over the flyweight limit for her fight against Sabriye Sengul. As a result, Melendez has been fined a percentage of her purse, but the fight will proceed as scheduled.

Amosov, who is yet to suffer a defeat, has a record of 27-0. He has won his last two fights against Douglas Lima and Logan Storley by decision. The 30-year-old fighter boasts a perfect record of 8-0 inside the Bellator cage. Amosov weighed in at 169.6 pounds.
On the other hand, Jackson’s fight against Amosov is the biggest fight of his career so far with a record of 16-4. Jackson, also known as “The Ass-Kicking Machine,” boasts a six-fight win streak which includes a decision win over Lima in his last outing. The Jamaican fighter weighed in at 169.6 pounds for his title shot.
The Bellator 301 main card will be broadcast live on Showtime on Friday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The preliminary fights will begin at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT on YouTube.
